Research on the Cooperative Scheduling of ARMGs and AGVs in a Sea–Rail Automated Container Terminal under the Rail-in-Port Model

Reasonable scheduling of a train’s loading and unloading equipment can reduce the energy consumption production operations; this has great value for green development terminals. The collaborative model Automated Rail Mounted Gantry (ARMG) Guided Vehicle (AGV) is used to minimize in scenario vertical railway entering port shared storage yard existing between under mixed operation mode “train–ship” “train–yard–ship”. According characteristics model, two-layer rule self-adaptive chaos genetic algorithm (SCGA) were proposed solve problem placing ARMG AGV on same schedule. Simulation experiments verified effectiveness algorithm. effects delayed arrival vessels, proportion “transshipment” containers, number automated ARMGs AGVs total analyzed. results showed that when all containers are at 1:4 will operational consumption. Furthermore, as ships take longer arrive, reducing cut use by 15% ARMG.
